If your child's fifth birthday is between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 then you will need to apply for a place at first, infant or primary school.
The closing date for applications is 15th January 2020 - any applications after this date will be subject to the late application process (see Staffordshire County Council website)
Parents receive outcomes on National Offer Day, 16 April 2020 parents will receive an email notification and / or confirmation letter directly from Staffordshire School Admissions.

Mid Year Applications
Guidance for Parents or Carers of children already of school age who are wishing to move to a Staffordshire School (from another Staffordshire School) will need to complete a Mid-Year Application form. Further guidance upon applications and choosing a school place can be obtained by viewing the Staffordshire County Council Mid-Year Admissions page.

How Do I Appeal?
Should your application to Primary School have been unsuccessful, you can make an appeal either by completing the online form, or by post using the Appeals Form. The 2019/20 appeal deadline for Primary Schools is yet to be confirmed by Staffordshire County Council.
Applications to secondary schools can be made from 2 September 2019 and the closing date for applications is the 31 October 2019. The quickest way to make an application is to apply online - a link to the Staffordshire County Council website 'Admissions Page' is below for your assistance.

Notification of your appeal date is sent to you via email and parents will be given at least 10 school days notice. Your appeal will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
