Welcome to Reception's class page.
Last half term we enjoyed learning about people who help us. We had visits from a nurse, firemen, police officers and a postmen. We were then able to practise being firemen in our fire station role play area and doctors and nurses in our doctors surgery. We also enjoyed finding out about the journey of a letter then writing and posting our own letters. We hope you enjoyed receiving them!
 
We really enjoyed using the hose and spraying all of the cars!
Our trip to the postbox!
This term we are learning about jungle animals. We are pretending to be explorers in our jungle role play area and enjoy writing about what all the jungle animals we have seen! We had a great trip to the Zoo on Tuesday 16th March - we enjoyed see a variety of different animals especially the chimpanzees and giraffes.
In the last few weeks we have been learning these sounds: or, ar, ur, igh, ow, oi. We have been learning to read and spell these tricky words: was, with, will, you, this, that.
