St Elizabeths
Mission statement
Our Catholic school aims to provide a caring, secure and happy community which encourages children to achieve to their fullest potential. Our curriculum provides a setting in which children can grow in their understanding and gain skills in an environment underpinned by Christian values.
Our success is based firmly in the belief in a Learning Partnership between staff, students and parents/guardians where we share in the responsibility of nurturing children to achieve their potential through open communication and involvement within a dynamic community. We promote high achievement by working together to: • be reflective and understanding of ourselves and others • develop skills for learning and life • challenge and motivate each other to flourish • be flexible and adaptable in an ever-developing community • be inquisitive and enquiring to extend ourselves Aims • To foster the growth of our children in their Christian faith whilst helping our children respect other people's religions and develop their understanding of other cultures • To enable each child to reach his/her potential by offering a wide range of high quality experiences • To promote and provide good inclusive practice • To enable our children to receive a broad and balanced curriculum whilst ensuring progress is made in the basic skills • To prepare our children to meet all kinds of situations by developing self-esteem, confidence and independence
