ACTIVITIES

DT Day   

During our D.T. skills lesson we began to create our own scissor mechanisms. We had to use the skills of measuring, drawing lines and cutting strips of card to the same length to create the parts of our scissor mechanisms and then we assembled them. 

Mental Health Workshop

Year 4 took part in a mental health workshop with Poppy. They learned how to manage their anxiety and how to keep calm in difficult situations when they felt stressed or worried. They completed their own support template with lots of coping strategies to help them. 

Ukulele

Our Year 4 class take part in weekly Ukulele lessons. They learn how to play a number of musical compositions ready to perform in a combined school production at the end of the academic year.  

Computing

During computing lessons Year 4 learned how to plan their own podcast. They wrote and recorded their audio in pairs in the form of an interview.
