Our Charity Work
The staff and children of St Elizabeth's are proud to support a number of charities throughout the school year, done in the knowledge that Jesus calls us to help others. We donate money by wearing our own clothes. We donate food through our Harvest festival or via the foodbank. We bring in old toys or clothes to give to others in need. During Lent classes take turns to donate to and run their own cake sale - selling cakes to the children in the rest of the school. Money raised is shared between charities including our local charity 'Heart of Tamworth' and CAFOD. We take part in the Good Shepherd appeal and many other charity events that may be more relevant at the time. We collect shoeboxes during the Autumn term to support the Samaritan's Purse appeal. We also support the Royal British legion during the Poppy appeal. For the most up-to-date information on our current focus, please contact the school office or speak to your child's teacher.
